
Michael Fox is a senior growth and strategy, sales, and business development executive with over 40 years of experience identifying, qualifying, and executing large-scale information technology and digital transformation services and solutions contracts across the entire Public Sector. His expertise includes executive management consulting, P&L, corporate development, new business development, sales management, complex government contracting, strategic partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions.
Michael is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and in the media on various topics related to federal procurement, business development and small business mentorship. For the past 12 years, Michael was the U.S. Federal Sales Lead within Accenture’s Federal Services (AFS) organization where he managed a team of over 120 sales professionals. In his last position, Michael took on the newly created role of Chief Capture Executive. He was tasked with leading a team of sales executives responsible for the capture activities for all of AFS’ largest and most complex deal pursuits. Prior to Accenture, Michael has held the position of Corporate Business Development and Chief Strategy officer at Novetta (now part of Accenture Federal Services) and Attain. He started his career at SRA International (now part of GDIT) where he led business development and capture efforts for over 22 years.
Since leaving Accenture in February 2025, Michael has formed his own business development and growth strategy firm, called Sollertia Strategic Consulting. The firm specializes in strategic aspects of government sales, from lead identification and qualification to capture and proposal development. Sollertia (Latin for “Skill”, “Knowledge”, “Expertise”) are experts in developing highly creative and innovative capture strategies for large, complex deals. Sollertia also helps small and mid-size companies put in place a strategy to pursue more prime opportunities and accelerate their growth to the next level.
